Educators & School Administrators

Healthy students are better able to attend school, experience positive peer relationships, earn higher grades and test scores, and stay on track to graduate.

Together we can:

Remove health-related barriers to learning and reduce time teachers and staff spend on health issues.
Educators and school nurses are natural partners at promoting student growth. The clinical skill and care school nurses provide keeps kids from being sent home and helps teachers meet their instructional goals.

Engage parents in student success.
School nurses frequently communicate with parents of students with health conditions, helping to establish ties that invite their
active participation.

Incorporate wellness into every day
School Nurses also help create a culture of health and safety throughout the school that benefits all students and staff.
